Reed is a third-year Biomedical Engineering undergraduate student at the University of Arizona. His professional interests include research in integrating advancements in soft materials, photonics, and electronics to develop systems that can significantly enhance health diagnostics and contribute to advancements in neuroscience.
Ethan Lin
Treasurer
Ethan is a current sophomore majoring in Biomedical Engineering, and triple minoring in electrical & computer engineering, environmental engineering, and math. He currently does research at Dr. Lu's lab working on the increased efficacy and targeting ability of chemotherapies utilizing liposomes. Outside academics, he enjoys to play and watch soccer, hike, and listen to vinyl. In the future, he hopes to get a Ph.D. in BME and work as a researcher.
Ryan Thien
Secretary
Ryan is a junior studying Biomedical Engineering and minoring in Mathematics. He is involved with clinical research in Dr. Gutruf’s lab at the BIO5 Institute, works in the admissions office at the College of Medicine - Tucson, and coordinates an oral cancer screening program. Ryan intends to attend an MD or MD/PhD program post-graduation.
