Kusuma Teluguntla

President

Kusuma is a current junior majoring in Biomedical Engineering. She is researching in Dr.Trouard's Brain Imaging Lab where she is studying the structural connectivity within the brain and seeing how it relates to age. Outside academics, she's also part of Engineering Student Council and enjoys playing Pickleball and Tennis with her friends. In the future, she hopes to go into industry.

Rachel Karceski

Vice President

Rachel is a junior studying biomedical engineering with a minor in Spanish. Outside of school, she spends her time working as a math tutor, playing volleyball, and exploring Tucson. In the future, she plans to become an anesthesiologist assistant.

Zeke Pangelinan

Social Chair

Zeke is a sophomore majoring in Biomedical Engineering at the University of Arizona and a member of the Franke Honors College. He is passionate about biomedical innovation and is actively involved in research focused on advancing therapeutic technologies and medical devices. As BMES Social Chair, he plans and coordinates events that strengthen community within the organization and create opportunities for connection and professional growth. Outside of academics, Zeke enjoys lifting, spending time with friends, and exploring music, and he hopes to pursue a career developing impactful healthcare technologies.

Allen Lu

Treasurer

Allen is currently a Sophomore majoring in Biomedical engineering with a minor in electrical and computer engineering. He is currently doing research in Dr.DK's lab working with microscopy. Outside of school he enjoys playing tennis, pickleball, hiking, and running. In the future he hopes to get a masters in BME and work in industry.

Kaitlin Smith

Secretary

Kaitlin is a sophomore that is majoring in Biomedical Engineering and minoring in Mathematics. She is passionate about advancing research for childhood cancer and developing innovative medical devices to aid early detection of diseases. In her free time she enjoys hanging out with friends and family, staying active in the gym, and trying new foods.
